First-Ever Zagat Pizza Survey Results

Time for a pizza party! On June 28, 2012, Zagat released the results of their first-ever Pizza Survey, which looks deep into the pie-loving public’s obsession with this food favorite. Turns out America is pretty pizza-obsessed, as survey respondents admit that they eat it pretty much once a week, consuming a pie or slice an average of 4.3 times each month. And this love of all things ‘za isn’t just because it’s cheap or convenient – 83% of folks Zagat surveyed say it’s among their favorite foods.
[Editor's Note: London Dining Review will be doing a smilar pizza survey later this summer so it will be interesting to compare Londoners' habits to those of our American neighbours. We thought you would appreciate gleaning insight from these results although they may not be as local as we would have hoped.]
