Gigs Introduces New Name, New Menus

Craft beer lovers in London anxiously awaiting the roll-out of Milos Kral’s new venture at the Gigi’s location (420 Talbot Street) have to wait no longer. Along with a new name — Milos’ Beer Emporium — comes new menus and an introductory lunch special.

Matthew Reijnen starting as the new chef several weeks ago has introduced three new menus: lunch, dinner and another for bar snacking. Focusing on local ingredients, most items appear to be made in-house, and many incorporate their own smoking. All three menus were unveiled today at the newly revamped website.

A few familiar items from the former Gambrinus menu make a reappearance. And as a bonus to reward our patience, until, Friday, July 13, guests will receive 25% off any regular lunch menu item.

The lunch menu features Heirloom Tomato ($12), Smoked Wild Salmon ($12) salads, Smoked Turkey Breast ($14) and Carolina Pulled Pork ($12) sandwiches and a pasta dish. The more robust dinner menu offers Pan-Roasted Pickerel ($22),  Gnocchi with Italian Sausage ($18) and Buttermilk Fried Chicken ($16). The bar menu lists finger foods such as French fries, onion rings and wings along with more hearty subs and burgers.

Operating hours are Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 am, Wednesday to Friday from 11:00 am to 2:00 am  and Saturday from 4:30 pm until 2:00 am. Closed Sundays. The new website for Gigs, Milos’ Beer Emporium is now online at
